Design
What is the difference between a page and a spread?
Open a book and lay it flat, once side is a page, both pages are a spread. A page is one half of a spread. A spread is the entire design space spanning 2 pages. The vast majority of labs require albums be submitted as spreads. If you lab requires individual pages be submitted please let me know BEFORE the design is delivered.
Why was one of my favorites not included in the initial design?
While I try to include every favorite selected I cannot guarantee that they will all make it into the initial design. Some reasons that an image may not be included are: too similar to another image or I cannot seamlessly include it in the series. If you still wish it to be included after the initial design please let me know and I can try and make it work.
Why do I need a print release?
In 99% of cases, the copyright of your photographs remains with the photographer who created the images. A copy of the print release is needed for me to legally design and print your photographs.
Why does the design take 10 days?
I am a one woman show! As such each design takes time. I thoughtfully curate each page and focus on the design and flow of the entire album. Trust me, it will be worth the wait!
Do you edit the photographs?
No. To stay within standard copyright law, and out of respect for my fellow professional photographer, I assume photos provided are ready to print and do no additional editing.

Yes! Your memories deserve print! I am happy to work with you on any type of album; from your trip to Europe to your littles first year.
Printing
FULL SERVICE CLIENTS
How long does an album take to be produce?
Once the design in approved and the album balance is paid the album takes roughly 1 month (sometimes 2 weeks, sometimes the full month, depending on the time of year). The company's I use create each album custom and handcraft based on size, pages, cover, fabric, and any add ons. They pride themselves, as much as I do, in the individual piece vs the bulk creation. Trust me, the difference in quality is so worth it.
*If you have a time constraint for receipt of the album, please let me know BEFORE I order, there may be the ability to place a rush on it for an additional fee*
My mom/dad/grandma/crazy aunt LOVED my album and wants their own copy. Can they order through you?
Of course! Not only can they print through me but I waive the design fee for any additional copies ordered. If desired, I can create additional layouts to compliment the initial design for the extra spread price.
I ordered my album through you, do I still get a printable copy of the design?
Yes! This printable version is great for parent albums! Also, if you have an album printed through me you get one resized complimentary.
DESIGN ONLY CLIENTS
I ordered a "Design Only" Can I print my design anywhere?
Yes! Each album will be delivered at 300ppi at the size ordered Once you have received your design you are free to print through whomever you would like. Keep in mind that all labs are not created equal and, as with almost everything, you get what you pay for.
What if I need my album design in a smaller/larger size? Can you resize it?
Yes! If you are ordering the I can resize for to any album size (within the same ratio) for additional $25. Smaller versions are perfect ordering parent albums.
Help! You designed my album 6 months ago and I have yet to print it? Can you still print it for me?
Yes! You are preaching to the choir! As someone who shamefully took almost a decade to get her own wedding album printed I understand the need to outsource. Better yet, I am happy to apply your design fee towards any album offered. Let's get that thing printed!
Payment
When is payment due?
The design fee is due at the beginning of each project. If ordering an album the balance will be due after the final draft is approved and before the print album is ordered.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Debit/Credit is easiest. If you wish to pay by cash or check please contact me for accommodations.
Refunds?
Due to the custom nature of each album no refunds are available. I work hard to make sure every album is perfect, please contact me if you have any questions or issues.
